Introduction Features Of PTFE Electric Butterfly Valve :
The electric actuated fully PTFE lined butterfly valve is a type of valve featuring a disc-shaped closure element that operates through 90-degree reciprocating rotation to achieve opening, closing, and regulation of fluid flow channels. The valve body is typically constructed with cast steel or stainless steel as the base material, while the internal flow passage is entirely lined with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or other fluoroplastics (such as FEP or PFA), forming a corrosion-resistant protective layer.
Standard Features Of PTFE Motroized Butterfly Valve :
● The PTFE lining exhibits exceptional resistance to corrosion from strong acids (e.g., sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid), strong alkalis (e.g., sodium hydroxide), potent oxidizing agents (e.g., aqua regia), and organic solvents.
● The disc and seat employ a soft-sealing structure, with the fluorine-lined material exhibiting superior elasticity. Upon closure, the outer circumference of the disc compresses the seat, inducing elastic deformation to establish sealing specific pressure, thereby ensuring zero leakage.
● The butterfly valve features minimal rotational torque for swift and effortless operation, supporting diverse actuation methods including manual, pneumatic, and electric drives to accommodate automated control requirements.
● The rotation angle of the butterfly valve plate exhibits a linear correlation with flow rate, enabling precise regulation of medium flow within a specified angular range to meet process control requirements.
● PTFE exhibits an extensive temperature resistance range and exceptional chemical stability, albeit with relatively low mechanical strength.
● The FEP lining material has a maximum operating temperature of ≤150°C (short-term exposure up to 150°C, long-term use ≤120°C); whereas the PFA lining can withstand 180°C momentarily, with a continuous service temperature of ≤150°C.
