Optimizing the spatial layout of Italy flange pneumatic ball valves

In continuous process industries such as textiles, dyeing, and food light industry, the density of equipment and pipeline installation is often higher than expected in the design. When adding new production stations or renovating old lines, engineers often find that traditional ball valves are too long and cannot fit into the existing narrow spaces. Adopting (ultra-short flange) thin Italy wafer pneumatic ball valves is a favorable solution to address the limitations of installation space.


The spatial limitations of the light industry sector

In light industrial plants, process pipelines are usually laid along the walls, along the edges of columns, or within the equipment compartments. When adding new filtration equipment, modifying or expanding the wash water circulation, or adding backup pumps, the installation length of the valves in the pipeline sections often becomes the biggest obstacle.   2. Sealing performance
    • The valve seat material is PTFE, with an applicable temperature range of -20℃ to +280℃. It is commonly used in light industry systems to come into contact with soft water, detergents, steam, acid cleaning solutions, etc. The chemical stability is high, and there is no expansion or aging leakage.
  3. The quick-switching logic of "only taking 1 second"
    • Pneumatic actuators (double-acting/single-acting spring return) achieve a switching time of ≤ 1 second. They have a significant control weight for light industrial processes that require automatic prevention of water hammer or quick isolation.
    • When the customer needs to interact with the upstream DCS or PLC, the compactness of the thin valve demonstrates the system-level advantage. Under a frequency of over a hundred switches and with low valve core resistance, the actuator's thrust load is small.
    • For the sections that require automatic shutdown upon power loss and gas depletion, the spring return (single-acting) model can directly provide the fail-safe position.
      For continuous adjustment scenarios, P/P pneumatic positioners or E/P electro-pneumatic positioners can be connected to a 4-20mA signal.

The core value of the thin wafer Italy pneumatic ball valve lies in replacing the limit installation. Its advantages are mainly reflected in the overall length, savings, and quick feedback.
