The V-shaped opening forms a fan-shaped flow area with the seat passage, enabling precise flow regulation through sectional area adjustment during rotation. Functioning as an angular displacement control valve, it maintains sealing performance equivalent to standard ball valves while integrating both regulating and shut-off functionalities. When coupled with pneumatic or electric actuators, this valve finds extensive application in industrial process automation systems.
