Forged steel flange globe valve is a commonly used shut-off valve, mainly used to connect or cut off the medium in the pipeline. It is generally not used for regulating flow. The stop valve has a wide range of applicable pressure and temperature, and this valve is suitable for small-diameter pipelines. The sealing surface is not prone to wear or abrasion, the sealing performance is good, the valve disc stroke during opening and closing is small, the opening and closing time is short, and the valve height is small. This valve complies with design standards such as API 598 and ANSI B16.34. The pressure grade covers 150-600LB. The integral forging process is adopted to ensure no weld leakage. The applicable temperature range is from -29℃ to 425℃.
Design Features Of A105 Forged Steel flange globe valve:
1). Its structure is simpler than that of a gate valve, and it is more convenient to manufacture and maintain.
2). The sealing surface is not prone to wear or scratching. It has excellent sealing performance. During opening and closing, there is no relative sliding between the valve disc and the sealing surface of the valve body. Therefore, neither wear nor scratching is severe, and the sealing performance is good with a long service life..
3). The opening and closing torque is large, the operation is rather strenuous, and the opening and closing time is long.
4). When opening or closing, the stroke of the valve disc is small, so the height of the globe valve is smaller than that of the gate valve, but the structural length is longer than that of the gate valve.
5). Inspection and testing in accordance with API 598
